Halloween and Relationships

Delicious candy, creative costumes, and many masks are all common sights during the Halloween season. Interestingly, during this time, some companies even invest in and occupy commercial space only during this time. Here is a challenge to all readers...especially those who are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ...

While others are shopping for....making their own....putting up...and putting on their masks, take yours off. Yep, off!  More than ever, endeavor to be authentic, true and real. Who knows the real you??? Who has genuine encounters and conversations and experiences with the real you?  It may be risky, but make a point to slowly reveal the real you to interested and caring others. Be discerning when you lower your guard (mask) ...but do it!  Some of us are waiting to celebrate y-o-u!

So, while others are donning their masks/costumes and parading around as someone else, do the opposite, take advantage of this opportunity to drop the mask. Oscar Wilde said,"You be you...everyone else is taken!"

Relationships are helped when two authentic persons intentionally engage and interact.

Food for thought:

Berean Study Bible
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.  Hebrews 4:13
